Komar und Melamid artworks and editions

Komar and Melamid are a Russian artist duo. They preferably work two-dimensionally, but also have created some plastic artworks. Komar’s and Melamids' artworks and editions are known for their cynical criticism. They deal with topics such as the former Soviet Union, communism, the art market, and excess. Komar and Melamid began their oeuvre together in Russia and continued it after their successful emigration in America.
